যারবিয়ামের মৃত্যু হলে তাঁকে ইস্রায়েলের রাজাদের সঙ্গে, তার পূর্বপুরুষদের সঙ্গে সমাধিস্থ করা হল| তার মৃত্যুর পর তার পুত্র সখরিয নতুন রাজা হলেন|
